Brief DescriptionJob Summary:
The primary focus of this role will be managing targeted accounts, including Erate accounts, within the telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecom sales, particularly with Erate experience, preferably in the Arizona market. The Corporate Account Manager II will be responsible for cultivating relationships with key clients, including Gem/F sectors (Government, Education - Erate, Medical - hospitals and larger medical facilities), financial institutions, and other large community anchor institutions as required.
Key Responsibilities
The primary focus of this role will be managing targeted accounts, including Erate accounts, within the telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecom sales, particularly with Erate experience, preferably in the Arizona market. The Corporate Account Manager II will be responsible for cultivating relationships with key clients, including Gem/F sectors (Government, Education - Erate, Medical - hospitals and larger medical facilities), financial institutions, and other large community anchor institutions as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with targeted accounts, with a specific focus on Erate clients in the telecommunications sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Gem/F sectors, including government agencies, educational institutions eligible for Erate funding, medical facilities, and financial institutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet the unique needs of targeted accounts.
- Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets by effectively managing and expanding the customer base.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to drive strategic account planning and business growth.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and pricing strategies to clients in alignment with company objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate account management within the telecommunications industry.
- Proven track record of success in telecom sales, with a focus on Erate accounts.
- Strong knowledge of Erate program guidelines and processes, preferably with experience in the Arizona market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
