Responsibilities
- Preparation and analysis of financial reports - analyze actual results vs budgeted/forecasted, calculate variances and explain the causes of these variances to the management
- Perform cost analyses and provide recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
- Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking, process analysis, drive process improvement, provide financial forecasts and recommend actions for optimization to management
- Assist in budget process
- Interpret data on price, yield, stability, future investment-risk trends, economic influences and other factors affecting investment programs
- Guide the cost controlling process and work with the management in enforcing policies and procedures
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial analysis and general accounting or cost accounting
- Experience in consolidation and intercompany accounting
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- Strong quantitative and analytical competency
- Knowledge of ERP and accounting systems, willing to learn new system
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
- Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi task and meet deadlines
- Ability to work with others and independently, self-motivated & self-disciplined.
- Ability to commute to Batavia office for scheduled in-office days
