About the Role

The Merchandising Operations Specialist plays a key role in troubleshooting and resolving escalated issues within the Merchandising team throughout the procure-to-pay process. This includes managing escalated Purchase Order issue, and providing training and support in implementing new system functions or processes. Collaboration is essential, as this role will work cross-functionally with teams such as Merchandising, Food Safety, Merchandising Strategy, AP (Account Payable), and Warehouse Operations to streamline procure-to-pay lifecycle management, SKU lifecycle management, and enhance overall merchandising processes. The ideal candidate will possess both a detail-oriented approach and a strategic customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot any escalated Purchase Order issue tickets during receiving, such as overage issues and follow up on improvements for the root causes.
• Resolve any escalated payment issues after receiving, including investigating and resolving any escalated on-going PO payment issues, and assisting AP for aging PO review tasks and aging PO payment issues.
• Support system change and related execution of any attributes change of SKU lifecycle management, such as shelf life change or storage type change.
• Assist in executing vendor lifecycle management, including supporting vendor on-boarding, sponsor, promotion execution and calendar verification, and follow up overall vendor performance.
• Provide training, formulate SOP(standard operating procedure), and help implement any new system functions or processes.
• Work cross-functionally within the Merchandising, Food Safety, Strategy, AP (Account Payable), and Warehouse Operations teams to collaboratively execute procure-to-pay lifecycle management, SKU lifecycle management, and merchandising improvements.
• Conduct root cause analysis, analyze and manage key metrics, and propose improvements for related functions or processes.
• Perform other related duties as assigned, within the scope of practice

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in merchandising, supply chain, business analytics, or related e-commerce experience preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Good at analyzing problems, identifying alternative solutions, and providing recommendations for improvement
• Experience in reporting and analyzing operational performance metrics with a data-driven approach
• Willingness to learn, be flexible and pivot across multiple tasks as necessary
• Have both a detailed-oriented and big picture customer-facing mindset
• Strong ownership of getting things done
• Excellent written and verbal skills

Compensation Range

• The US base salary range for this full-time position is $66,560 - $70,000
• This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits 
• Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
