Field Service Technician world class radar systems

At Weibel Equipment, Inc. you will join the worlds leading developer of radar systems designed, built, delivered, and maintained for high-end customers all over the world. We have experienced major success and growth, and that is why we need you to join our USA based team.
We are looking for a Field Service Technicians close to Yuma in Arizona.
Top class technical service centered on state-of-the-art technology and equipment
Weibels overall goal is to keep our customers satisfied, and you will contribute to this by unfolding your skills across all kinds of tasks from installation to operation and maintenance. We will provide you with on-going training, and your tasks and responsibility will gradually expand. You will spend a lot of your time at customer sites like the US Army Yuma Test Center in Arizona, Aberdeen Test Center in Maryland, White Sands Test Center, in New Mexico, Redstone Technical Test Center, or one of our other many customer sites in the US. The remaining time as part of our global Field Service Team. This could include tasks like Factory Acceptance Tests at the HQ in Denmark, a Site Acceptance Test in Thailand or a satellite rocket launch in Japan. Your primary tasks will be to:
Operate, maintain, align, troubleshoot, and repair CW Doppler Radars, Transmitter and Receiver Equipment
Participate in the installation, integration, and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) of Weibel radars
Carry out root cause analyzes on equipment failures and recommend corrective actions
Prepare and submit repairs of equipment discrepancies and possible solutions
Devise and implement preventive maintenance programs
Keep performance and maintenance records on equipment
Perform operational and maintenance training to range personnel
Please note that some of your tasks may take part in restricted areas that require security clearance.
5 years of technical radar experience
We are looking for a person that can take charge and is motivated to work independently. You must have the skills to make a thought-out plan for the tasks you have ahead of you as well as the flexibility to handle unforeseen incidents with confidence. To succeed, you must also have an open mind towards working with people with very different cultural and professional backgrounds. As part of this you must be able to communicate with your audience in mind tech talk to technicians, more general terms to business contacts etc. Additionally, your resume should have:
5 years of experience working with radars from installation to repair and maintenance
Complete understanding of radar concepts and principles
Hands-on knowledge of electronics, tools, and test equipment
Ability to interpret electrical & mechanical schematics
General knowledge of basic RF Cable construction and repair
Basic knowledge of electrical multi-pin connectors and the repair
Knowledge of industry practices
Technical writing skills documentation, feedback and recommendations
