**Overview:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and experience with CargoWise software.
**Responsibilities:**
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data
- Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients' billing issues
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
**Skills:**
- Strong analytical skills to analyze financial data and detect discrepancies
- Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Experience in customer service to address client inquiries effectively
- Familiarity with public accounting practices is a plus
