Parts and Service Coordinator NeededSummaryUnder general direction of Support Operations Director, Maintenance Support Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records related to Maintenance, Operations, and Safety. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
All employees of Weisinger Incorporated must agree to perform work out of town or at night, on the weekends and on holidays with short notice and for an extended period as needed.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • The following list includes essential duties and responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned. Perform all activities in accordance with all policies, principles, and procedures established by Department, Division and Weisinger Inc. Management and Board of Directors.
  • Enter data accurately and efficiently into computer databases, spreadsheets, and other digital platforms. Update and maintain records of maintenance work orders, equipment inspections, and inventory levels. Ensure data integrity and consistency while adhering to established data entry procedures.
  • Organize and maintain physical and digital files for documents and records. Retrieve and compile data from various sources to create comprehensive reports for members of the management team.
  • Communicate & Collaborate with the Management team to gather and document relevant information. Communicate any discrepancies or issues with data to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
  • Assist in monitoring and documenting inventory levels for supplies and equipment. Generate reports on inventory usage and reordering needs.
  • Perform regular data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of records. Identify and rectify data entry errors or inconsistencies promptly.
  • Assist in the coordination and procurement processes for preventive/routine maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, and repair of vehicles, rotating and stationary equipment, gas/diesel engines, drilling rigs, mud pumps, gear boxes, hydraulics and heavy equipment, associated electrical systems, and/or other equipment as assigned.
  • Responsible for basic housekeeping including but not limited to disposing of garbage and organizing job site, crew truck and employee lockers before, during and after shift.
  • Follow all safety regulations, policies, principles, and procedures.
  • Use all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Immediately notify supervisor about injuries to self or crew members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, which may include working in other roles or in another department as needed.

Education And/or Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Proven experience in data entry or a similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency in data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance and inventory processes is a plus.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License
Language Skills
  • Ability to speak, write, read and understand English required for basic job function
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical or safety procedures, manuals and standards
  • Ability to communicate routinely on telephone, email, and other communication avenues.
Mathematical Skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals in English and metric units.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Physical Demands
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; taste or smell; and lift and /or move up to 20 pounds
  • This position requires full use of arms and back, and is comprised of repetitive motions.

While performing the duties of this position the employee will primarily work in an office environment. The employee will occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts at eye level or overhead; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration; dirt; mud; grease; oils; solvents; diesel fuel; wet and/or humid conditions; extreme heat/cold; icy surfaces and other outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to chemical and exhaust fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud. This work environment description is intended to provide an overview of the potential work environment for the Data Support Specialist position in the Fleet Department.
