PAY : $20/$22 per hour based on License Classification

Position Summary

Weiss Brothers provides solutions for your Janitorial Supply, Industrial Packaging and Paper Product needs is in search of a Delivery Driver associate to join our team based in Hagerstown, MD.

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivers orders to customers and handles back haul of returned orders and damages.
• Obtains Signature on POD, pick-ups, and C.O.D money while out on delivery.
• Unloads truck and takes products and pallets to the receiving area.
• Obtains required information on each document and payment if required.
• Interacts with customers and maintains a proper appearance.
• Address questions or concerns of customers and reports back to the office.
• Counts items and makes notation of any products not on truck.
• Check in pre-authorized returns with Quality Assurance desk.
• Obtains proper shipping documents needed for deliveries and loads freight/equipment onto truck.
• Inspect truck, turn in daily inspection report.
• Return and re-load when instructed.
• Reports discrepancies with Warehouse clerk.
• Must cross-train in the Warehouse operation.
• Must be able to use Material Handling Equipment.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate will have:

• Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and move more than 100 pounds.
• At least 2 years of experience driving a 24-26ft box truck.
• Valid Driver's License. CDL B License required.
• Safe driving history and ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to read and write the English Language.
• The employee frequently is required to stand, sit or walk, climb, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
