The successful candidate will be responsible for,but not limited to the following attributes:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load shuttle baskets for our other locations with product that is staged in the dispatch and warehouse throughout the day
- Verify the parts loaded match paperwork, are packaged properly for transport and are secure following DOT guidelines
- Organize and strategically place product in small spaces safely and follow DOT weight limits
- Effectively ship out and store scheduled runs to our warehouse via UPS, FedEx and freight
- Drive delivery vehicles when loading/unloading is necessary.
- Assist drivers with loading/unloading d customer pickups
- Organize cores to designated area as well as pick up dispatch department for the following day.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment following OSHA guidelines
- Handle and properly dispose of hazardous fluids such as gasoline or motor oil
- Assist fellow teammates when necessary
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to lift, bend, twist and pull 75 lbs
- Forklift experience is preferred
- Auto parts knowledge is preferred
- Attentive to detail and efficient
- Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task
