Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating business-focused projects. This individual will work closely with various stakeholders across the organization to ensure the successful execution and delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen, the ability to influence and hold people accountable, and the flexibility to manage a variety of tasks and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage business-focused projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Facilitate regular project meetings to track progress, identify risks, and resolve issues
- Influence and hold team members accountable to deliver project tasks on time
- Utilize tools such as Excel, JIRA, and SmartSheet to manage project documentation and reporting
- Provide recommendations on best practices and process improvements
- Manage cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes
- Develop and implement operational standards that ensure compliance with both operational and technical requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in a business-focused environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Excel, JIRA, and SmartSheet
- Experience with compliance and operational aspects of project management
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved in various tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and initiative-taking approach
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
- Experience in the fintech or dental industry
- Familiarity with systems integration and API design
- Must be extroverted and comfortable approaching people for updates and influencing them
- Should be flexible and not overly rigid in project management methodologies
- Ability to think on your feet and make quick, effective decisions
- Should have a proven track record of staying in roles for a significant period, demonstrating growth and progression within previous positions
