Overview

Welling Young, LLC has partnered with a third-party claims administrator responsible for multiple claims programs to include commercial auto, garage, garage keepers and general liability claims. This Dallas-based TPA is fast-paced and growing. This position will handle claims within each program’s expectations and focus on the best possible claim outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Directly handle assigned auto first party claims of entry to mid-level complexity (Collision, Comp, Cargo, Auto Property Damage).
• Proactively investigate each claim with expedited and appropriate contact with relevant parties to determine potential exposure.
• Provide quality customer service and ensure timely coverage analysis and communication with insured(s) and carrier.
• Verify the nature and extent of exposure by obtaining and reviewing appropriate records and damages documentation.
• Identify, select, and direct appropriate internal and/or external resources for specific activities required to effectively evaluate claims, such as appraisers and experts.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years Claims handling experience.
• Experience utilizing computer technology, such as Microsoft Office, e-mail, Web-enabled applications, and database software.
• Licensing Required: In order to perform the essential job functions of this job, acquisition and maintenance of Insurance License(s) is required to comply with provincial and Company requirements
