Wellington Steele & Associates is Hiring an Imaging Specialist Near Chantilly, VA

Scope: The Imaging Specialist will manage all aspects of digital imaging and scanning operations, ensuring compliance with contractual SLAs and customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve customer issues and escalate as necessary
  • Conduct quality checks on own work
  • Adhere to safety and security procedures
  • Work independently and in a team
  • Complete tasks as assigned by Manager

Indexing:

  • Enter index attribute data from box barcode labels, folder spines, and document sequences
  • Handle indexing exceptions with “exception” labels
  • Print barcode labels as needed

Quality Assurance:

  • Validate indexed files and scanned images
  • Identify and resolve issues like multiple pages scanned together, torn corners, and missing documents
  • Compare hard copies to scanned images for quality

Data Entry:

  • Prepare and verify documents for data entry
  • Correct and update data as needed
  • Combine and rearrange data from source documents

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare documents for digital imaging
  • Check for quality issues
  • Index scanned images per customer and RDIC guidelines
  • Perform additional post-imaging services

Physical Demands:

  • Minimal to moderate physical effort
  • Moving boxes and loading paper into machines
  • Dexterity and movement between machines required

Mental Demands:

  • Problem-solving, communication, and information comprehension

Education Requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • 3 years in a Customer Service environment

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Data entry experience preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office and data programs
  • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities
