On October 13th, founders Arya & Tasha Alexander aired on Shark Tank to pitch their pandemic-born side project to investors. Despite not getting a deal, the traction and order volume resulting from the episode led to wildly unimaginable and unexpected success.
As Director of Operations, you will effectively be taking over Arya & Tasha' operational duties so they can focus on scaling the business via food service partnerships, retail orders, etc. You will be responsible for the following:
- Managing kitchen staff work schedule and production plans.
- Sourcing ingredients from different vendors
- Monitoring and editing Shopify, Goldbelly, QVC, and Amazon channels
- Managing the onboarding process with retailers (currently onboarding with Costco and WIlliams Sonoma)
- Identifying new opportunities for growth and being proactive, enthusiastic, and EXCITED to expand our products to new verticals.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to all operational departments within the business.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee the hiring and training of staff, ensuring a high standard of performance and service.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement improvement strategies as needed.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for supplies and services.
- Collaborate with the executive team to create and execute innovative initiatives to drive revenue growth.

Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the food and/or beverage e-commerce industry.
- In-depth knowledge of e-commerce operations and industry best practices.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to develop and monitor budgets and financial statements.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Valid food handling and safety certification.

Compensation
- Base: $85,000 - $150,000 performance based bonuses stock
