Position: Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood specimens for medical testing with precision and care.
• Assist healthcare providers in administering injections, medications, and other medical procedures.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and confidentiality.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Handle specimen processing and laboratory tasks efficiently to ensure timely and accurate results.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients, answering inquiries and addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a Phlebotomy Technician or Medical Assistant program from an accredited institution.
• Current certification as a Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant (e.g., CPT, RMA) preferred.
• Prior experience in phlebotomy and medical assisting in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with a commitment to maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and basic computer skills.
