Position: Guest Relations Specialist

Location: Wellness Institute of Neurodevelopment, Houston, Texas

Job Type: Part-time

About Us: The Wellness Institute of Neurodevelopment is a leading center dedicated to providing comprehensive care and support for individuals with neurodevelopmental conditions. Our mission is to empower individuals and their families through personalized care and innovative treatments. We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Guest Relations Specialist to join our team and help create a welcoming and supportive environment for our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome clients, families, and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Manage client check-ins and ensure a smooth flow of appointments.
  • Address client inquiries, both in person and over the phone, providing accurate information about our services.
  • Assist clients with scheduling appointments and managing their treatment plans.
  • Educate clients about our programs and services, offering tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Utilize strong people skills and a positive personality to promote and explain the clinic's programs effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure clients’ needs are met.
  • Handle any client concerns or issues with tact and empathy, escalating to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
  • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing client records.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving client service processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall functioning of the institute.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a guest relations or customer service role within a medical clinic or healthcare setting is required.
  • Experience working in an all-cash practice, concierge medicine, and supporting billing to insurance efforts is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in educating patients about healthcare programs and services, and offering them tailored solutions is essential.
  • Excellent people skills and a personality that enhances the ability to sell the clinic's programs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with scheduling software is preferred.
  • A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
