Wells Fargo is Hiring a Business Execution Associate - Outside Counsel Management Near CHARLOTTE, NC

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Associate to support the Legal Department's conflicts of interest process and other Outside Counsel Management team initiatives. For additional information on this line of business, refer to the external Careers Site at wellsfargojobs.com.

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in planning and executing a variety of programs, services, and initiatives, and monitor key indicators to ensure effective performance and control management of assigned operations or business groups
  • Review basic initiatives including policy or process changes, process improvements, technology enhancements, and conduct regular reviews to identify efficiencies and cost savings opportunities
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgement while developing an understanding of policies and procedures, best practices, and initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with mid-level managers or cross-functional business partners
  • Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff
  • Responsible for negotiating and approving timekeeper rates
  • Rebuild our timekeeper rate review process by gathering many datapoints and consolidating them for instant analysis and rate adjustment
  • Cross functional support across the team as needed
  • Bring a consulting, solution, and servicing mindset to our team

Required Qualifications:

  • 6 months of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong analytic skills to pivot and analyze data
  • Experience with negotiating and approving timekeeper rates
  • Ability to complete tasks thoroughly in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook Suite, with expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with law firm or legal department matter management systems
  • Knowledge and experience with legal services
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and follow workflow process steps
  • Experience with creating reports

Job Expectations:

  • Position will require onsite presence from any of the required locations listed below
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
