About This RoleWells Fargo is seeking a Credit Analyst (Commercial Banking Portfolio Coordinator) to join The Ag Collateral Monitoring Department (ACMD) supporting the Middle Market Banking offices. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com .

This is a great opportunity to learn basic credit and collateral skills and start your career in Middle Market Banking.
In This Role, You Will
  • Review credit information of loans for companies and industries
  • Perform routine moderately complex credit investigations on companies and industries
  • Review monthly collateral positions, apply advance rates and prepare collateral reports for presentation
  • Monitor credit covenants and document exceptions
  • Ensure credit files are current and compliant
  • Track actual performance against budgeted performance
  • Generate status reports for management/bankers
  • Gather information about companies and industries from a variety of sources
  • Receive direction from Commercial Banking Portfolio Management supervisor and escalate noncompliant issues
  • Interact with the immediate team and Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional area to review process of companies for providing credits
Required Qualifications:
  • 2 years of financial analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 6 months of financial analysis experience
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in business, finance, or economics
  • Risk management and mitigation experience
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
  • Experience with a customer service mindset and a focus on continuous improvement
  • Agriculture Industry experience a plus
Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$20.29 - $30.48
