This Infrastructure Engineering Senior Manager will be responsible for the enterprise Data Protection engineering organization. The manager of this team will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, providing day to day direction for the team, and identifying opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, lower risk, increase efficiencies, and drive down costs while delivering for our business partners’ requirements. This position will coordinate workflow, projects, and process efficiency for the team and will be the primary point of contact for these efforts. This position will provide consultative support to infrastructure and CIO partners in these technology areas. This position will be responsible for interacting with our vendors to ensure enhancement requests are being fulfilled, features are available ahead of demand, and the vendors are meeting Wells Fargo's expectations with their release cycles.
This position must understand backup/storage technology and the ability to manage a geographically disperse workforce to ensure a high degree of availability by engineering solutions for critical environments. This position must demonstrate experience in identifying and influencing engineering teams by driving efficiency in complex environments. The team will ensure our standard services meet regulatory, governance, and consumer requirements. The team will be responsible for engineering solutions in a 500 Petabyte (PB) environment.
