Wells Fargo is Hiring a Lead Business Execution Consultant - Internal Audit Platform Intake Lead Near San Antonio, TX

About This RoleWells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant in Internal Audit on the Technology, Platform & Integration Team. The TSS Team, led by a Senior Audit Manager, is responsible for supporting specific technology solutions used by Internal Audit including SharePoint sites, access to shared drives, and a customized Audit Archer based application, AMS. AMS is audit's system of record for audit universe tracking, risk assessments, audit engagement documentation, issue reporting, time recording and more. This individual will be the Intake Lead responsible for leading and managing the intake of new ideas for AMS enhancements or reporting and assessing the workflows that AMS supports to identify opportunities that can add efficiencies or improve the overall process.
In this role, you will need strong execution skills, process improvement, and technical or data skills. You will:
  • Manage the intake of ideas for enhancing the application or improving the overall process by working with stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop the user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
  • Evaluate current workflows and reporting to identify opportunities to improve processes by adding efficiencies and improving the user experience
  • For system enhancements work with the Product Owner and technology to prioritize stories assigning them to upcoming sprints
  • Work with the Testing Lead on the development of test scripts for stories in upcoming sprints and on defect identification during UAT
  • Act as a backup for the Product Owner assisting with initiative planning, change management, sprint and release planning, and acting as an SME and lead on the platform and its capabilities
  • Draft release and other communications for various stakeholders and present on platform topics and other subjects during the monthly support forum meetings
  • Assist with presentation decks and other materials for leadership meetings
Required Qualifications:
  • 5 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Strong execution skills, process improvement, and technical or data skills.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of audit or risk methodologies and supporting tools.
  • Six Sigma certification or training
  • Experience working with an agile development team using Scrum
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Certification in one or more of the following: CPA, CAMS, CRCM, CIA, CISA or Commissioned Bank Examiner designation
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Experience at a financial institution or accounting firm
  • Understanding of financial regulatory environment
