Wells Fargo is Hiring a Product Owner - Portfolio Management Platform Near Minneapolis, MN

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Owner to support Portfolio Management Platforms across Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) businesses. This role will be part of a team of Product Owners supporting the evolution of the Advisory Platform/Portfolio Management platform.
In this role, you will:
  • Engage in continuous discovery with advisors and their clients, product line partners, operational experts, compliance and other stakeholders
  • Articulate product vision, definition, goals, and direction for teams to design/develop/deliver technology and processes for well-established technologies/vendor relationships
  • Journey mapping of client and advisor experiences
  • Obtain and review feedback to understand pain points
  • Perform industry and competitive analysis
  • Drive requirements, incorporating product expertise and industry/competitor opportunities
  • Lead backlog prioritization
  • Adjust planning in situations that may include financial, control, or process roadblocks
  • Work internal technology partners and vendors to provide actionable solutions to address pain points/issues
  • Make business cases for application funding
  • Ensure the applications used by investment professionals are tested, compliant, accurate and available
  • Work with scrum and delivery technical teams to enable execution of the body of work
  • Enhance/monitor key performance indicators and identifies improvement opportunities while ensuring all regulatory and compliance needs are met
  • Other duties may be assigned as required
Required Qualifications:
  • 4 years of Product Management experience, product development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 4 Years of Wealth Management, or Brokerage experience, preferably investment related
  • 4 years of experience developing process, or system improvements
  • 3 years of experience in one or combination of the following functional areas: unified management accounts (UMA), Separately Managed Accounts (SMA), investment planning; system due diligence; investment analytics; performance reporting; equity management; fixed income management; alternative asset management; risk management and compliance; trading; data integration/analytics, business analysis
  • Knowledge of SEI Trust 3000, Fiserv/Tegra118/InvestCloud, Planning tools, Performance Measurement tools, FactSet, SEI, BetaNXT, Bloomberg, Portfolio Management/Trading Platforms, and/or SQL
  • Agile Experience (such as user story & feature writing experience / client discovery experience)
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements which may include workflows, journey maps, or business processes
  • Experience articulating and capturing requisite data needed to determine measurable business impact (in the form of OKRs/KPIs) for the business area
  • Advisory business, product or platform experience
  • Product/application testing experience
  • Good communication skills
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours to support product development/delivery needs
  • Ability to travel on a limited basis, less than 5% of the time
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
