The Strategy, Digital and Innovation (SDI) team forges the strategic direction of Wells Fargo, it provides and manages our digital foundation and common capabilities and transforms our business models to meet evolving customer needs and grow the company. About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant within Strategy, Digital, and Innovation. This individual will support the Transformation and Optimization team, an internal consulting team focused on the advancement and optimization of strategic enterprise initiatives.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex initiatives managing all activities in a project life cycle such as initiation, planning, executing, controlling, and closing associated with projects that are long-term and cross functional with broad impact, scope, and complexity.
  • Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution.
  • Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership
  • Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include product and organizational transformations, target operating model development, risk mitigation, and process efficiencies.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Agile principles and practices to support leading iterative change and deliver tangible outcomes.
  • Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, guide resolution of issues and ensure project tasks are completed according to established timelines. 
  • Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners
  • Support the business in oversight and execution of key strategic priorities, objectives and key results for the team and the leaders of the organization.

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 4 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Strategy, Digital & Innovation business operations, processes, products, and customer interactions and where they manifest risk
  • Highly motivated with an organized work style and the ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical ability used to identify risks and confidently raise issues, escalate early an engage in constructive credible challenge
  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
  • Strong time management skills, with an ability to multi-task, handle multiple assignments, and prioritize one's own work
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills – able to present status, facts, thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise, and organized manner
  • Experience in facilitating virtual and in-person collaboration meetings and work sessions

Job Expectations:

  • Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
  • Role is not eligible for 100% remote. Candidates must be willing to work onsite. Location preference is San Francisco, CA

Pay Range

$84,000.00 - $179,200.00
