About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant (Strategy and Business Management Consultant) that will report to the Head of Finance Strategy and Business Management. This role will be responsible for planning and executing a variety of services and initiatives in support of Enterprise Finance and its leadership team.
You will provide business management support directly to Technology Finance leadership and will own and manage initiatives across the Finance organization related to strategy and planning, talent and culture, workforce planning, risk management, financials, and Finance operations. Candidate will execute group strategies, process enhancements, presentations, portfolio reporting, and ad hoc projects. This individual will assist in guiding important initiatives for the team as well as advocate and represent the team’s interests. As a consultant, you must demonstrate the ability to multi-task and manage competing interests in a positive manner.
In this role you will:
Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges related to Business Execution that require solid analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Business Execution, and understanding of business, delivering longer term and large-scale solutions.
Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership for implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large scale and cross organizational.
Implement and deliver long-term strategies and process advancements for cross-functional stakeholders, and internal and external partners. Serve as a key point of coordination for strategic activities that cross the Finance organization at the direction of the Head of Finance Strategy and Business Management.
Introduce enhancements to and create new internal processes related to strategic initiatives, organizational design and development, and budget. Identify areas for program improvements and risk control development over the long-term in order to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.
Manage and produce business communications, executive level presentations, and various administrative functions including leadership offsite.
Required Qualifications:
7 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
3 years’ experience working within or partnering with a technology organization
3 years of strategic development, organizational design, and implementation
Significant and proven experience with creating/developing presentation materials for senior executive level audience
Experience conducting meetings, delivering presentations and status reporting
Experience with computer programs including, but not limited to, Tableau, PowerBI and SharePoint
Knowledge and understanding of compiling and preparing executive summaries, whitepaper, and presentations for management/senior leaders
Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications
Demonstrated ability to influence and lead change, develop cutting edge, innovative solutions, build effective partnerships, and manage cross-functional projects in a matrixed organization
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills combined with strategic business focus
Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to coherently present complex financial topics tailored to audiences of varying seniority and functions in order to create understanding and influence decisions
Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management
Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
