About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Intelligence Consultant to support Business & Real Estate Services initiatives that require analyses with translation of this information into insight, knowledge, and understanding to support the business. The Business and Real Estate Services (BRES) group sits under Shared Services Operations and provides key operations for the firm including Real Estate Valuation Services (REVS), Information Management (IMU), Tax Support and Services, and Complaints, Redress, and Remediation (CRR) management.

In this role, you will:

• Identify and define Commercial Real Estate Valuation Services (REVS) strategic initiatives that require analyses and translate this information into impactful insights.
• Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence objectives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs across the Business Intelligence function that enable clear and consistent delivery of insights
• Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges, delivering data aggregation and visualization solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require innovation and advanced analytical and inductive thinking
• Coordinate highly complex activities and provide guidance to others in the production of intuitive, digestible diagnostic analytics and dashboards
• Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant transparent data visual solutions that are large scale and cross functional and support the company in making business decisions and informing strategy
• Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the company on initiatives related to assessing business needs and producing actionable insights and trends, leveraging data visualization and business intelligence
• Serve as an expert advisor to leadership
• Work to drive adoption of insights and metrics as a resource for the company to enable a data-driven decision-making approach

Location: Charlotte, NC-Three Wells Fargo Center

Required Qualifications:

• 7 years of business intelligence and data visualization experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in creating dashboards and reporting using Tableau.
• Experience building datasets in SQL as well as creating and modifying SQL objects as needed.
• SQL, SSRS, Power BI experience.
• Experience in SAS.
• Knowledge of the mortgage or appraisal industry.
• Experience mentoring and coaching less experienced employees.
• Demonstrated excellence at evaluating, developing, and enhancing processes / process execution.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience.
• Demonstrated success in a complex and matrixed data environment.
• Demonstrated ability to validate work.
• Self-motivated, capable of working effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Well-developed organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities.

Job Expectations:

• Hybrid work model of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote each week.

Position is not Visa eligible.
