Job Description

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Operations Processor as part of the Currency Transaction Regulatory Reporting Group (CTRRG) Operations. CTRRG is responsible for timely and accurate filing of Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) in accordance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements.

In this role, you will:

  • Support Currency Transaction Regulatory Reporting Group (CTRRG) Operations in reviewing currency transactions received systemically and manually from downstream partners
  • Verify CTRs are correct prior to sending to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN)
  • Review and research CTR Exemption documentation as required by Financial Crimes Enforcement Network(FinCEN) to ensure accuracy and completeness as defined by Currency
  • Research and analyze using systems including Hogan, Relational History, Electronic Journal, and Operations Image Browser to identify reportable currency transactions in accordance with regulations
  • Adhere to Bank Secrecy Act requirements, which includes filing unusual activity reports
  • Escalate and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure compliance with FinCEN regulatory requirements such as filing CTRs within required service level agreement
  • Perform complex research while maintaining production and quality expectations
  • Effectively communicate with internal partners to meet CTRRG goals
  • Assist with new business initiatives as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • 4 years of operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Retail Banking experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of internal Hogan system.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Anti Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Operations Image Browser
  • Knowledge and understanding of Archive Index Creation and Inquiry Software
  • Knowledge and understanding of Relational History East and Electronic Journal systems
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Teller View System
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Experience serving as a subject matter expert on operational issues related to process or function
  • Experienced in delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer system windows, applications, and search tools to find information
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills

Job Expectations:

  • Support Operations in completing larger and more complex business, operational, and customer support initiatives and overall effectiveness of team performance
  • Use technical expertise in the designated area and resolve escalated issues
  • Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and customer support
  • Perform complex operational and customer support initiatives within Operations functional area
  • Assist staff, managers, and colleagues and provide guidance and interpretation of policies and procedures
  • Apply technical knowledge and expertise to perform work and action requests
  • Provide subject matter expertise and interpretation of procedures to staff
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

Hours and Location:

  • Location: 141278-NC-CIC Customer Information Ctr
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday Flexible start time between 6:00a.m.-5:00p.m. PST
  • Flexibility to work remotely two days per week and in the office three days per week
  • Candidate must reside within a commutable distance to the address listed in the posting

Pay:

  • Starting at $23 per hour based on experience
