About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior ServiceNow developer to support a custom application on ServiceNow Platform. This Senior ServiceNow Developer will be supporting the Enterprise Function Technology (EFT) group.

The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.

In this role, you will:

• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
• Enhance custom scoped applications on the ServiceNow Platform to meet business requirements, including implementation of client scripts, business rules, workflows, and custom Service Portal widgets
• Collaborate with application teams to design and implement data interfaces with other enterprise application systems
• Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each
• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:

• 4 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 4 years of ServiceNow development experience including proficiency with ServiceNow scripting (Glide JavaScript)
• Strong understanding of ITSM, ITIL, and/or CMDB
• Experience working within an Agile framework

Desired Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a focus on Design & development of ServiceNow Custom applications
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Web development technologies and tools
• Preferred expertise with integrations and Integration Hub
• Strong exposure to ServiceNow portal development
• ServiceNow System Administrator Certification (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Experience in Automated Test Framework to automate the testing of applications, customizations, and configurations
• Experience with development, customization, and administration of multiple components of ServiceNow
• Understands various design patterns, and best practices
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Confident and able to multi-task and manage expectations in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
• Analytical and design thinking
