We are a Christian faith-based, non-profit organization with a rich and evolving culture seeking a Stewardship Manager to assist with planning annual events and growing a donor portfolio.

Location: Administrative Offices with an active presence across all locations as well as within the larger community
Position Summary: The Stewardship Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to cultivate and secure philanthropic support from individual donors.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Responsible for developing and executing an annual and strategic plan for individual giving, including identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of individual donors.
Identify and cultivate relationships with potential major donors, including individuals, families, and foundations, to secure significant financial support for the organization.
Lead and oversee the solicitation of major gifts, including creating personalized cultivation plans, making direct asks, and closing gifts at various giving levels.
Maintains a portfolio of 50-75 major gifts prospects and donors and engages with them 10-12 times annually.
Develop and implement stewardship plans to ensure ongoing engagement and retention of individual donors, including personalized acknowledgments, recognition, and ongoing communication.
Conduct research and analysis to identify prospective individual donors and develop strategies for engaging them effectively.
Develop and manage the individual giving budget, track progress towards fundraising goals, and provide regular reports to senior management and the board of directors.
Work alongside the Development Team to maximize individual giving opportunities at fundraising events, donor cultivation events, and other relevant gatherings.
Foster positive relationships with internal stakeholders, including board members, volunteers, program staff, and senior management, to facilitate collaboration and maximize philanthropic opportunities.
When appropriate, work with the Volunteer and Community Engagement Managers to align donors with volunteer and other community-based experiences
Supports the creation of a planned giving society to foster long-term support for the women and children served through Wellspring Living

Professional Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in event management and/or nonprofit development with outstanding project management and relationship-building skills
Administrative, organizational, and computer skills including use of email and Microsoft Office suite
Documentation of references (at least two professional and one personal) that attest to the person’s capability of performing the duties of the position and to the person’s suitability of working with or around children and vulnerable populations
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Position Requirements:
Moderate travel among Wellspring Living locations and others in the Metro Atlanta area
Must be able to lift objects up to 25 pounds and have the ability to work for long periods at a computer
Satisfactory criminal history background check; Clean Motor Vehicle Record
