Job Summary:
The VP, Digital Health is responsible for leading the business responsible for providing digital health technologies. The leader will be responsible for strategy, capability, product development, and at times operationalizing Digital Health businesses. The VP, Digital Health will partner with physician and administrative leaders across the organization to develop and operationalize a robust, omni-channel digital health product strategy. The new products or businesses will enhance existing care delivery, develop new mechanisms of care delivery, and target novel revenue streams.
The VP, Digital Health will lead the business development and management of multiple strategic partnerships internal and external to the organization and lead the development of platforms, new products, capabilities, and revenue models. VP, Digital Health will also lead and optimize existing consumer-facing technology products (ex. MyChart, RPM) in partnership with clinical and digital technology teams.
The leader will demonstrate an understanding of consumer needs and expectations and knowledge for developing digital experiences to exceed consumer expectations. The leader will oversee a cross-functional teams to execute initiatives. The role will provide consultation in regards to technical architecture and its intersection with business needs in existing care models.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Digital Health Strategy a)Define and manage a robust digital health strategy and operationalize as well as product portfolios for the digital health enterprise. b)Own and drive product life cycle while building cross functional partnerships to establish a technology roadmap that aligns with business growth, customer needs and overall digital health enterprise strategy. c)Establish processes for prioritization and coordination across the digital enterprise in support of technology platforms to maximize value to the customer. d)Use deep analysis of user needs to develop creative strategies for the product and align the technology organization to those strategies. e)Collaborate across teams to effectively communicate product strategic plans to internal stakeholders, manage feedback and adjust appropriately. 30%
- Digital Health as a Business a)Operate and launch digital health as a business aligned to the global Wellstar business. b)Develop business roadmap and performance measures. c)Develop governance and sophisticated intake processes to maximize impact to organizational priorities. 50%
- Strategic Growth a)Develop and refine integration processes to create a repeatable and predictable mechanisms for future system growth opportunities. b)Evaluate market trends and competitive forces to empower continual improvement and learning. c)Create a pipeline of talent from within and outside the organization, focusing on diversity of thought to respond to the constantly evolving landscape. d)Work closely with other leaders of the organization cross-functionally. 20%
