Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans for patients
• Manage the dietary department ensuring compliance with regulations
• Administer tube feeding and other specialized feeding techniques
• Provide health coaching and education on proper nutrition
• Budgeting for dietary requirements and supplies.

Qualifications:

• Leadership: Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
• Hospital Experience managing and overseeing this department and all foods related to hospital needs
• Ability to prepare food for employees and patients 25 Bed hospital with more employees
• Know all the kitchen supplies that are need and how to order
• Know the inventory of what is involved in a kitchen for this size hospital feeding employees and patients
• Minimum number of years 2 -5 of supervisory experience in a kitchen hospital setting
• Will work hands on with his team of 5 cooks and step in when necessary if cook is sick or not at work
• Food services workes and dietitian report to this Director
