Position: Obstetrics Registered Nurse Manager

Location: Winnemucca, Nevada

Setting: Critical Access Hospital

Work Type: Full Time

Pay: $49.80 - $81.60 per hour Plus Full Benefits

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Completion of an accredited school of nursing

Completion of a bachelor’s in nursing

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Master’s degree in Nursing or Management preferred or working toward one

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 3 years of obstetrical experience required, must have worked in perinatal area for at least 8 months in the last 24 months

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

Active Nevada Registered Nurse License

Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE

BSN

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

Previous Management experiencepreferred

National Certification in a perinatal area or EFM

SPECIAL SKILLS:

Able to read, write and speak the English language in an understandable manner.

Sufficient previous clinical experience in labor and delivery, postpartum care and newborn nursey and supervisory responsibilities. Ability to perform mathematical calculations for medication administration.

Ability to manage multiple projects.

Must be a role model of a professional nurse.

Ability and willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.

Able to communicate clearly and tactfully with patients, their families and co-workers

Knowledge of computer application beneficial to work (Word, Excel)

RNs and CNAs in the perinatal area
