Welspun Tubular LLC is Hiring a Director, Human Resources Near Little Rock, AR

Job Summary: Develops policy and directs and coordinates human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential functions satisfactorily. Reporting relationships, work assignments, and work schedules may be subject to change in order to meet company needs and business requirements. Other duties may also be assigned.

  • Analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plans.
  • Prepares personnel forecast to project employment needs.
  • Supervise and provide consultation to management on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training and development, budgets, and labor relations
  • Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; and training and development.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations; consults legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with federal and state laws
  • Motivating and supporting HR staff
  • Creating and implementing employee relations policies to help increase employees' job satisfaction
  • Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
  • Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs.
  • Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: To carry out supervisory responsibility in accordance with the organization's policy and applicable laws, Supervisory responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Directly supervises four employees in Human Resources. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, and circumference.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables,

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Salary: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
