Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the store manager in all aspects of store operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for retail management. Duties: - Assist the store manager in overseeing daily store operations - Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints - Train and supervise store staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about products and sales techniques - Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering merchandise as needed - Handle cash register duties, including opening and closing the register, processing transactions, and providing change to customers - Assist with visual merchandising to ensure an attractive and organized store layout - Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets - Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates - Assist with payroll management and scheduling of staff shifts Skills: - Previous experience working in a retail environment, preferably in a leadership role - Strong organizational and time management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately - Knowledge of inventory management principles - Familiarity with sales techniques and customer service best practices - Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively We offer competitive pay and opportunities for career advancement within our organization.
