Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing and managing payroll for our organization. This is a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely payment to our employees.

Duties:
- Process payroll for employees using our payroll software system
- Calculate and enter data for hours worked, overtime, bonuses, and deductions
- Review timesheets and resolve any discrepancies or errors
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Maintain accurate records of employee payroll information
- Generate reports on payroll expenses, taxes, and deductions
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee data

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using payroll software ADP
- Familiarity with tax regulations related to payroll processing
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entries
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
