Summary: Supports and promotes wire, cable & electrical supplies product lines to industrial accounts in support of company growth and strategic objectives.

Minimum & Preferred Requirements

• Maintain a valid driver's license.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in business, commercial or industrial construction, or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience working with electrical products in lieu of degree.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
• Previous experience working with electrical distributors preferred.
• Previous experience promoting products to industrial customers preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales support to customers, including: review of customer project specifications and documents, preparing and presenting bills of materials, and properly sizing and recommending components to solve application requirements.
• Prepare and conduct product and solution-based demos, presentations, and seminars for customers to promote the products.
• Design, manage, and deliver technical training to internal and external customers in support of product line.
• Utilize the customer relationship manager (CRM) tool to log and manage customer opportunities, tasks, customer interactions, and support responses from customers in assigned region.
• Execute product strategy for new and emerging products within designated product lines.
• Participate in quarterly sales planning meetings with Account Managers to understand new products, programs, and determine needs of customers.
• Provide post-sales support to customers, including: assisting with customer escalated issues, implementation troubleshooting, and expediting issues to appropriate vendor partners.
