The Role
Fulfill construction and industrial customer product orders in our Kenosha location. Utilize specialized equipment to measure, cut, assemble, and ship high-grade wire and conduit products to customer specifications. Work with a growing, high-performing team in a fast-paced environment. There is a physical aspect to the role, and you'll be active and moving throughout the workday.
The Perks

• Competitive compensation: $20/hr starting pay, $2,000 sign-on bonus, $2,400 annual bonus, merit increases every year, and levelling programs with pay increases
• PTO : based on experience and negotiable (2 - 3 weeks of vacation is typical and we give another week of PTO to every employee on top of that)

What We Need From You

• Flexibility to work OT during busy periods
• Dependable, reliable team player with strong work ethic and attention-to-detail
• Ability to work a 1st shift (Monday - Friday)
• Basic computer system knowledge
• Previous forklift experience is a plus

The Day-to-Day
Receive and complete training/equipment certifications to support inbound and outbound operations safely and effectively.
Inbound Operations:

• Receive product and support inbound operations.
• Put away product and follow warehouse process standards to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Verify amounts of materials or items received, report overages, shorts, and damaged inbound material.
• Ensure products are labelled, marked, and stored appropriately for easy product identification and smooth order processing.
• Replenish forward pick locations
• Cycle count locations to verify inventory accuracy
• Use a variety of forklift equipment

Outbound Operations:

• Identify proper specifications for outbound customer orders and calibrate wire-cutting machines to ensure accuracy and minimize errors in product length
• Cut wire to customer specified lengths and parallel wire onto wood and metal reels
• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders
• Inspect product for defects and quality issues and ensure customer expectations are met before products go out for delivery
• Operate a variety of wire pulling machines, forklifts, and hand tools
• Use computer to enter records or reference stock
• Maintain cleanliness of facility and equipment
