Wesco International, Inc. is an established hay export company looking for a full time Hay Buyer. Wesco is located in Ellensburg, Washington and has been exporting since 1971. Employees are engaged in the purchasing, processing, sales, and exporting of hay to Asia and the Middle East.

This is an excellent career for an applicant who has:

· An interest in agriculture and working with farmers

· Excellent interpersonal communication skills
· A superior work ethic and time management skills
· Experience with timothy/alfalfa hay (preferred, but not required)
· Ability to navigate safely to fields in Eastern, WA using GPS coordinates

The Hay Buyer is responsible for:

· Building and maintaining farmer and customer relationships

· Managing details of farmer fields in a database

· Accurately grading hay at harvest and buying it from farmers

· Working within the Sales Department to understand the market and assisting when customers visit to inspect and purchase hay

Extensive on the job training and tools are provided.
