The Business Hub Project Manager is a key cross-functional and coordinating role that drives efficiencies throughout Wesco Operations. The Project Manager (PM) will oversee a strategic grouping of warehouse locations focused on a specific geography, customer segment(s) and/or product lines. The PM will coordinate with Sales, Inventory and Operations to consolidate Sales inputs, translate those into Operations requirements, and systematically disseminate that information throughout the Business Hub to drive on time customer delivery, create operational efficiencies and increase overall customer satisfaction. To achieve these goals the PM will participate in and may lead SIOP (Sales Inventory and Operations Planning) meetings and drive that process for Operations.
Manages and oversees all aspects of a project to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget. Has overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing and outside vendors. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Additionally, the PMIII will onboard, mentor and/or assist other PMs or analysts on additional Business Hubs to foster cohesion and consistency within the group.
