You will assume responsibility for the leadership of the Nursing Department during non-business hours.
You will facilitate management of staffing and patient flow functions to assure safe and appropriate patient placement.What qualifications you will need:Current Licensure in the State of Kansas as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Current Multi-State Licensure as a Registered Nurse, required.Current Basic Life Support(BLS) verification course through American Heart Assoc. and American Red Cross - Healthcare Provider CPR, requiredNIH Stroke Survey Certification course within 90 daysCurrent Advanced Cardiac Life Support(ACLS)within90 daysSuccessful completion of Dysrhythmia Exam, preferred.2 years experience, requiredBachelor's degree in Nursing, requiredPrevious supervisory experience preferred.RequiredKnowledgeandSkillsAbilityto utilize thenursingprocessin the provision of nursing care including, but not limited to, administering treatments andmedications,interpretingdiagnostic tests, formulating a plan of care, collaborating with other health care providers and providing educationtopatients and/or significantothersAbilityto multi-task, delegate, andprioritizePossess problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to collaboratewithotherhealth care providersAbilitytoeducatepatients and/or significant othersAbilitytocommunicate effectivelyPossess personalcomputer skills
