Maintenance – Level IIDepartment: Maintenance FLSA/Classification: Non-Exempt/Hourly (Full-Time) Pay Rate: $16.00 - $21.00/hr, Depending on Experience and other factors Shift: 1st - Weekend availability REQUIREDLocation: Wesley Willows Campus Reports to: Director of Facilities and Grounds Direct Reports: N/A SummaryTo perform maintenance duties, including electrical repairs, plumbing, HVAC, and equipment or facility repairs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Performs basic plumbing repair, including repairing/replacing sink and shower faucets, repairing/replacing toilets, repairing/replacing sink drains, and basic troubleshooting.
Maintain and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment; replace filters, Aprilaire elements, thermostats (air and electrical), and air handler belts.
Perform minor drywall repairs.
Complete basic carpentry work; fit and replace doors.
Perform all Maintenance level I functions.
Maintains a safe and productive work environment.
Assists with the resident relations program; handles all resident concerns promptly.
Keep the Director of Facilities and Grounds informed of all resident issues.
Completes all special assignments/projects as required by the Director of Facilities and Grounds.
Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Education/Skills/Experience/Credentials
High school graduate or equivalent. Some college or technical preparation is preferred.
Minimum of five years’ experience in electrical and plumbing.
Knowledge of heating and cooling systems.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR (moving vehicle record).
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand and walk for 6-7 hours of an 8-hour shift.
Must have the ability to occasionally climb stairs, stools, and ladders.
Must have the ability to stoop, bend, and kneel frequently.
Must have the ability to reach in front, sides, and overhead.
Must be able to lift 25 to 75 pounds while walking or bending at the waist and knees.
Must be able to frequently push, pull, or move carts and equipment, exerting a force of 50 to 75 pounds.
Must be able to use wrists, fingers, and hands for repetitive firm grasping and use of hand tools.
Other Federally Regulated Requirements
Must be willing to undergo pre-employment background check, including (MVR) moving vehicle records.
Must have or be willing to receive the Flu-Shot Vaccine and TB testing.
Must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening, including cannabis.
Must be willing to undergo biometric screening.
