Sr. Records Examiner / Analyst ROLE We are seeking a Sr. Records Examiner / Analyst for the Department of Justice (DOJ), Executive Office of the United States Attorneys (EOUSA). The Executive Office for United States Attorneys’ (EOUSA) mission is to provide general executive assistance and direction, policy development, administrative management direction and oversight, operational support, and liaison services for the 94 United States Attorneys’ Offices (USAOs). As part of this mission, EOUSA provides financial litigation guidance and services to the USAOs. EOUSA is the lead component of the Department of Justice (DOJ) for issues relating to financial litigation and the enforcement of criminal debt. Your role as Sr. Records Examiner / Analyst for EOUSA will be to serve in a supervisory role responsible for directing the work of Records Examiner/Analyst and Data Analyst contractor personnel that will be providing clerical, administrative, and analytical support to the FLPs nationwide. Direct, supervise, and review the work of Records Examiner/Analyst and Data Analyst contractor personnel.
Create new data records, compile case information, post / reconcile failed payments.
Monitor payment plans and generate form letters.
Manage the progress of contractor personnel to ensure efficiency and compliance with requirements.
Research using data searches, data verification, retrieval from existing databases, and case-related information.
Develop tracking and management systems for task completion, using pre-determined management reports.
Troubleshoot and perform quality control spot-checks to formulate administrative and technical procedures.
Conduct trend analyses to find documentation errors to avoid delays in debt management and payment posting.
Coordinate with FLPs nationwide, the Office of Legal Programs, and other EOUSA offices as needed.
Work with Office of Legal Programs management, Government officials, and delinquent judgment debtors.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
Possess a four-year degree with five years of professional experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Retrieve and analyze data from multiple sources.
Ensure accuracy with attention to detail and quality control.
Knowledge of legal procedures, case terminology, legal research, and online information sources.
Deliver high-quality work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and various databases and online search engines.
Operate office equipment, including computers, photocopiers, telephones, and scanners.
Can edit, reformat, and generate documents using MS Word and other software.
Two years as a Records Examiner Analyst). Supervisory experience (preferred).
