- Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of software solutions.
- Involves requirements gathering, system design, coding, testing, and debugging.

- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university.
- Applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems AND OR;
- Other related engineering or computer science discipline.
- Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification.
- Experience in software engineering management.
- Performing data reduction and analysis.
- Designing tests and laboratory analyses.
- Conducting scientific analyses and interpreting research results for C4ISR systems.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in software engineering.
- Software planning and requirements analysis.
- Design, development, and integration of large-scale software systems.
- Testing and debugging large-scale software systems.
- Installing large-scale software systems.
- Estimating, measuring, and reporting quality and progress of software development efforts.
- Experience with applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting.
- Experience with applying modern software development methodologies in a professional or academic setting.
- Experience developing embedded real-time software.
- Experience developing models and simulation.
- Experience working with Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS).
- Experience with object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) methodologies.
- Experience with Agile software development.
- Experience with DevSecOps and/or complex software build plans.
- Experience with open architecture constructs:
- Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA)
- Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C5ISR)
- Electronic Warfare Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS),
- Open Mission Systems (OMS)
- Open Communication Standard (OCS)
- Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI)
- Experience developing software architecture using Cameo, or similar Model Based Systems Engineering tools.
- Experience with tools like Git, JIRA, Collaborator, Beyond Compare, and VersionOne.
- San Diego, CA
- Current Secret level security clearance
- Navy. Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific.
- Travel Required to various locations within the United States.
- Monday through Thursday 7:15 AM to 4:45 PM and Friday 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM.
- Every other Friday is a non-workday.
- Not eligible for relocation benefits.
