Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital in Sulphur, LA. The CRNA will be responsible for administering anesthesia, monitoring patient vital signs during procedures, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort. Case types include but are not limited to General Surgery, OB/GYN, ENT, Pediatric Dental, Orthopedic, Urology, Podiatry and Gastroenterology/Endoscopy.

Specifications:

• Educational Requirements: Graduate from a nurse anesthesia educational program that meets the standards of the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs, or of such other accreditation organization as may be designated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid. Certified as a nurse anesthetist by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists. Holds current state licensure as a registered nurse. Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in the State of Louisiana by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing
• Experience Requirements: experience preferred
• Skills/Abilities: ACLS-Certification

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Have an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency registration and a Louisiana Controlled Dangerous Substances license.
• Maintain good standing on Hospital’s allied health professional staff, with all privileges necessary to undertake the services for this position.
