West Hills Learning Center is looking for someone who enjoys working with young children, ages 2 1/2-3 1/2 years old, teaching them the skills to be independent, happy, successful learners.

Some of the position requirements are to be available and willing to:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM--5:30 PM.
• Supervise and care for children in a warm, nurturing, "home-like" environment.
• Be willing to support the classroom by serving food, cleaning, assisting with bathroom needs, presenting during group time, closing the classroom at the end of the day, etc.
• Applicants must be dependable, flexible, have the ability to take initiative and follow written and oral directions in English.
• Must be comfortable communicating with parents and other staff.
• Enroll in the Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC) Central Background Registry (CBR).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
