Lube Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and oil changes on a variety of vehicles. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service and vehicle performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for the automotive industry.

Duties

• Perform oil changes and lubrication services on vehicles efficiently and accurately.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to identify any potential issues or maintenance needs.
• Utilize power tools and equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs.
• Assist in sales of additional services or products that may benefit the customer’s vehicle performance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
• Collaborate with other service technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
• Document all services performed and maintain accurate records for each vehicle serviced.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Experience as a service technician, preferably in an automotive setting.
• Proficient in using power tools and automotive service equipment.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and procedures, including oil changes and fluid checks.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during vehicle servicing tasks.
• Sales skills to promote additional services or products to customers effectively.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics to identify potential issues during inspections.
• Solid mechanical knowledge with a passion for the automotive industry.
• Previous experience as a mechanic is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
