West River Health Services is Hiring a Clinic Receptionist- New England Near England, ND

Description: Supplemental/ One day per week (Varies)

Answers phone in a prompt, courteous, professional manner. Presents oneself in a professional manner, knowing the receptionist is the first impression of the organization. Focuses on quality customer service.

Recognizes criteria for ambulatory visits and accepts appropriate patients and schedules accordingly. Demonstrates flexibility to priorities as patient’s needs change.

Able to assess needs per phone conversation with appropriate referral and/or appointment scheduled.

Works with the patients to insure that the patient information sheet is complete and that necessary authorization signatures are obtained.

Maintains demographic and insurance information for new patients and/or patients with updated information.

Recognizes and performs duties which need to be performed, although not directly assigned.

Performs money management duties including co-pay collections, petty cash, and deposit process. Coordinates with Patient Financial Services.

Checks patients out after appointment. Schedule follow-up appointments. Tallies the patient route ticket and collection of patient day amounts. Makes sure all diagnosis is legible on the route ticket.

Opens, closes, and maintains the satellite clinic office in accordance with office policy. Makes appropriate preparations for the next day’s schedule.
