The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Credit Specialist to support Auto Finance in Financial Services. The Credit Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating contracts and offerings as a customer advocate.
Responsibilities
- The Credit Specialist will review, update and negotiate credit offerings with automotive lenders as an advocate for the customer.
- Represent the customers' interests in a thoughtful, detailed, and honest manner in negotiations with automotive lenders.
- Build strong working relationships with outside lender personnel including credit underwriters, and funders based on mutual benefit.
- Assist customers in selecting a financing offer based solely on maximizing the customers' overall experience.
- Complete the placement of contracts with lending banks including all required and requested stipulations in a fast and efficient manner to maximize cash flow for the company.
- Review and analyze credit reports from major credit bureaus Review income documents, affordability ratios, and credit reports in order to advise customers regarding a credit decision
- Build strong working relationships with the Sales Team, Delivery Operations Team, and all team members.
- Onsite in Hayward – first month will be Monday to Friday for training, then schedule would be a Saturday through Wednesday role.
