General Description
Serves as the Human Resources Manager. Responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resources functions, including but not limited to:
- Interviews of applicants
- Making hiring recommendations
- Payroll
- Ensuring the application and interpretation of policies, procedures, and regulations regarding employment
Advises administrative, managerial, and supervisory staff accordingly. Works with supervisors and Nurse Educator to ensure all staff have required training and orientation. Responsible for preparation of personnel reports. Develops and maintains personnel files. Schedules drug and alcohol testing and background checks for all onboarding staff. Participates in managerial quality and safety meetings. Performs related duties as required.
Applicants selected for employment must successfully complete a criminal background check, chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug screening test and may be subject to drug testing for probable cause as set forth in agency/bureau policies. John Manchin Sr. Health Care Center is a tobacco free facility.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Four (4) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid human resources experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,575.00 - $87,625.00 per year
