West Virginia University Health Science Center is currently accepting applications for a (Hybrid) Temporary Part-time Telehealth Nurse Trainee with Health Affairs Institute

About the Opportunity

West Virginia University’s (WVU) Health Affairs Institute is seeking a Graduate Nurse to provide clinical monitoring for a telehealth intervention targeting Medicaid members. The Health Affairs Institute frequently engages in collaborative efforts with the WV Department of Human Services and other state and nonprofit partners that hold a mission to improve the health of West Virginians.

What's you'll do:

• Effectively communicate with an interdisciplinary project team, comprised of members from the WVU School of Nursing, School of Public Health, School of Medicine, and the WVU Health Affairs Institute.
• Lead and coordinate with members of the ETHP team to conduct biweekly telephone assessments of pain and mental health status under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Examine remote patient monitoring data by collaborating directly with a telehealth vendor and the clinical team.
• Coordinate care with members of the clinical team.
• Assist with cleaning and analyzing data under close supervision.
• Assist with literature reviews.
• Assists with data visualization and report writing.
• Attends and participates in project team meetings.
• Adheres to all Health Affairs policies and procedures.

Length of Assignment: Approximately 8.5 months

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
• Previous telehealth experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with Clinical monitoring
• Knowledge of analyzing data
