West Virginia University is Hiring a Part-time Lecturer - WVU School of Nursing Family and Community Health Department Near Morgantown, WV

Description
West Virginia University School of Nursing invites applications for a Non-Tenure Track Lecturer. This is a part-time, 0.50 FTE, 9-month, non-benefits-eligible position to teach in the BSN program psychiatric/mental health nursing clinical. This position will report to the chairperson of the Family and Community Health Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Clinical teaching in psychiatric/mental health nursing the BSN program. In addition to clinical teaching, other formats of teaching, including traditional classroom teaching, skills lab, small group, and simulation teaching may be included.
  2. Advising students in the BSN program.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in nursing (MSN); or have a bachelor's degree with a major in nursing and be enrolled in a graduate degree program with a major in nursing within one year of employment as a faculty member; or have a bachelor's degree with a major in nursing and at least two years of professional nursing practice experience.
  • Evidence of experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing practice sufficient to demonstrate professional competence.
  • Required to have unencumbered WV RN License by position start date.
  • Applicants with two years of teaching experience in nursing are encouraged to apply.
