At WorkForce WV, this position is in the Field Operations, Adjudication unit. Under general supervision, this position will gather facts, investigate, and apply law and regulations to adjudicate contested Unemployment Insurance (UI) claims containing separation and eligibility issues. May contact employer and/or claimant for fact-finding information needed for adjudication. Will apply facts to issue a written decision covering the findings, determine claimant eligibility for benefits, explain the legal basis for and results of decisions, and explain appeal rights to interested parties.
