Under general supervision, this position provides support services related to the area of personnel administration for the Department of Health's Finance Unit, the Office of Emergency Medical Services, the WV Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, the Developmental Disabilities Council, and the Health Care Authority. Works in a specialized capacity while providing assistance and serving as a resource of information pertaining to all aspects of Human Resources. Duties include but are not limited to advising staff on best practices on personnel-related issues, processing personnel transactions, entering job postings electronically, compiling statistical information for reports, and overseeing the on-boarding and off-boarding of staff. Duties may also include interpreting and applying applicable rules, laws, and policies. This position may also be assigned special projects and other duties on an as-needed basis.
