Description

Seeking a Full time Facilities Maintenance Tech for a client located in Covington. Monday Friday 7a-3 : 30 Pay $20-$22 HR Facilities Maintenance Tech Responsibilities :

• Performs a variety of maintenance activities (e.g. carpentry, painting, electrical, carpet and tile laying, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining and improving the buildings so they are safe and comfortable
• Ability to identify general upkeep and maintenance needs and communicate them to supervisors
• Arranges furniture and equipment for purposes of providing adequate preparations for meetings and special events
• Performs minor, job related, maintenance on custodial and maintenance equipment
• Maintains tools and equipment for the purpose of ensuring they are available and in a safe operating condition
• Prepares facilities for daily operations for the purpose of ensuring facilities are operational and hazard free
• Operates and maintain facilities equipment such as vehicles and golf carts
• Reports building and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor

Facilities Maintenance Tech Requirements :

• Self-motivated
• Responsible, dependable, and reliable
• Able to stay focused in a multitasking environment while maintaining deadlines
• Must be able to complete essential duties to the satisfaction of the supervisor
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, including but not limited to lifting and carrying equipment
• Must have some prior experience in custodial or maintenance work
